The Shore Club in Hubbards, home to Nova Scotia's longest continuous Lobster Suppers is also Nova Scotia's Last Great Dance Hall every summer Saturday night, featuring the likes of the Persuaders, Late Night Lovers, Glamour Puss, Barnacle, Matt Minglewood, Shameless, Sam Moon, Richie Oakley, The Hopping Penguins, Matt Minglewood, The Fabulous Fossils and the Usual Suspects. The Shore Club is also a great place to end a fabulous day in sunny Hubbards after a dinner at the Dauphinee Inn, or a day at any one of our great summer festivals and events like the Ceilidh on the Cove, the HubARTS festival at the barn, the 30th Annual Craft & Chowder Festival, the World Tuna Flat Races, Hubbards Cove Days or the all new for 2007 Mussel Beach Weekend. We have Hubbards history, links, our schedule for dances and our Lobster Suppers (or if you're from out of town you might call them Lobster Dinners - they're still world famous and we've served more than a million of them in the last 60 plus years) menu right here for you. The first Shore Club lobster supper was cooked in a large copper cook-pot from the US frigate, Chesapeake way back in 1946. You can subscribe to our e-mail list for advance news of local Hubbards events, festivals, races and celebrations and order your very own "Last of the Great Dance Halls" VIP cards which save you big bucks on our Saturday night dances here in Hubbards. |
